Politics - Women in Pakistan's 14th National Assembly

The place where every politician (male or female) dreams to sit.
Only 6 women managed to enter the Parliament through General Elections this time. Making the total women tally 66 in a House of 342 which is far less than the number 76 in 2008.
Those Lucky-6 are Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Azra Pechuho and Faryal Talpur from PPPP, Sumaira Malik, Ghulam Bibi Bharwana and Saira Afzal Tarar from PML-N.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Samina Khalid Ghurki, Marvi Memon, Shazia Marri are some prominent female ex-parliamentarians, who were out-numbered in the elections this time but Lucky them, they were brought back on Women-Reserved Seats.
Despite these Old bullies, New Faces are also introduced which are mostly mother-daughter-wife of some ex or present Politician. This list includes Rida Khan (daughter of PML-N information secretary Mushahidullah Khan), Dr Nafisa Shah (daughter of Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah), Zeb Jafar (daughter of PML-N's Chaudhry Zaffar Iqbal) and Shaista Parvez (wife of PML-N's Parvez Malik).
Don't be depressed on this, two Completely-New faces having NO political background are also sworn-in. They are Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Aisha Gulalai - the first female MNA from South Waziristan and Alizeh Haider inducted by PPPP - who left a high paying job in Dubai, just to do something progressive for women in Pakistan.

Number of women who have made their way to the parliament through a Reserved Seat are divided as:
